There are 206 bones in an adult body. A whole entire adult skeleton would way less then 10kg.
The skeleton is divided into two divisions which are called the axial skeleton and the appendicular skeleton. The axial skeleton is anything down the middle of the skeleton and the appendicular is anything on the outside of the skeleton.
There are 4 different types of bone. There is the irregular bones, Long bones, short bones and flat bones.
Long bones can be found in your arms and legs, Short bones can be found in your wrist, hands, feet and ankles, Flat bones can be found in your skull and ribs and while irregular bones are bones that don't fit either of those categories.
There are two types of bone tissue. The two types of bone tissue are called compact bone and cancellous bone. Cancellous bone is the inside of the bone that has blood vessels in it and the compact bones is the outside layer of the bone that gives it protection.
The 4 functions of the skeletal system is frame work, storage and minerals, protection of vital organs and produces blood cells.
